October 2010 - Catering Road Trip One of our best customer’s kids got married this fall and they asked us to cater the wedding reception – in Pismo Beach!! Yes, we did it!! Our catering truck has these wheels that allow it to go either 2 miles or 500 miles. The food was excellent, the setting perfect and the wedding beautiful. And for dessert, we set up our famous chocolate river with 3 flavors of chocolate and tons of dipping items…so yummy.
August 2010 - Tacoing Outside the Box
I am ALWAYS on the lookout for awesome tacos. It’s a tough job but someone has to do it. This summer I went down to a Crazy Taco Night fundraiser in Orange County to check out some of the flavors. Pumpernickle tortillas, roasting pigs, fruit tacos with balsamic reduction, and tacos in the shape of ice cream cones. Bottom line? Most of them were very tasty.
May 2010 - Let us Feed your Party
Having a party? We Cater. Actually, we can do just about anything you can imagine. Give us a try. One of our parties this last summer was this totally cool completely custom party that we designed the menu specifically for her. Our kitchen staff is dedicated and talented. 
April 2010 - Update on Bertha Madness
After weeks of qualifying the Bertha Madneess 2010 field was reduced to 2. Robby Alonzo from La Canada and Scott Corr-Robinett from South Pasadena. Both turned in sub 9 minute times to make it to the finals. Clearly, they were holding back! The final time was under 4 minutes with the victor being Robby. The prize was $100 and, in a surprise move, Bob Baffert, who was sitting at a adjacent table, added $200 to the pot! Robby and Scott were eating for tons of Gringo Glory and $300! A true gentleman, Bob then gave Scott $100 for a close second. Congratulations Scott and thank you Bob.
March 2010 - Check out the New Windows at Los Gringos
OK – well these are not really “windows” but more like holes in the wall with some frames around them. With our expansion last year into the adjacent space, well, it just wasn’t quite right, the room was nice and all, but, well, not perfect. So, we got to use some power tools and cut open the walls – you should see it now, it is TOTALLY cool. One of the really cool features about the holes, um, windows is that we designed some removable barriers that can be removed (hence the name “removable” barriers) when a large party wants to sit together, but not too together. You can still see each other and it seems like you’re sitting together, but each half of the party is in different rooms.
February 2010 - We have Added More Seating
Hate to Wait for a table at Los Gringos Locos? Problem Solved. Since we have added another 10 tables and another 30 seats in our newly expanded area, the waiting time for a table at peak times has gone down immensely. “The is extra area has made is way better for our guests” says Carlos. With this room, we now have the ability to seat large parties in more places. Haven’t seen the new room yet? Be sure to come in and check it out.

A recently installed TV in the Los Gringos Locos Mexican Restaurant cavernous waiting area reveals some amazing facts and its food preparation and restaurant. The facts, carefully checked and rechecked shed light on the inner workings of Los Gringos Locos Mexican Restaurant. February 2010 - Carlos Got a Haircut
OMG!! He looks SOOO good. He is sporting Summer cut a little earlier this year. “I may have done this a bit too early this year. Its still a bit too cold.”
December 2009 - Even the Rose Court Eats at Los Gringos Locos
Los Gringos Locos was pleased to host the 2010 Rose Court for a night out on the town. We’re pretty sure they all voted where to go and the voting was unanimous – we got to go to Los Gringos. In keeping with Rose Court protocol, none of them tried to eat the Big Bertha. For those interested, the guacamole was requested “medium.” This will be a future question on Jeopardy. As they left, they all waved.
